    Default Recent immigration figures.

    http://www.immi.gov.au/media/publica...rivals0708.pdf

There are a few positives in this that is the amount of Euro/white immigration is steady and the numbers, notably from Eastern Europe are increasing the same goes for South Africans.

Alot of what is said in here should be taking into account that a proportion, probably around 10% of what comes from Europe isn't European at all. Especially from England the amount of Paki's, Curries and Blacks many with half caste families is quite shocking. Same goes for New Zealand, lots of Asians and other races mainly Maori come over from New Zealand.

The 08-09 annual intake is apparently going to be the largest ever, just in time for this recession. The Federal Govt said it would be reducing the intake but I don't believe it for a second.

At any rate, we have far too many Asians, Blacks, Curries/Pakis, Middle Easterners and Maori/Pacific Islanders coming here. That the number of Asians is as much as the number of Euro immigrants is disturbing to say the least. Especially when coupled with our current Governments Asiaphile tendencies.

I have a hard time believing these statistics. Note the specific use of the word ''Settler''. I imagine this implies someone who has been registered for a permanent residence or attained citizenship.
Typical of Western Democracies with illicit goals, purposely hiding their intentions through double meanings and complicated wordings. This should be no surprise given that Kevin Rudd is a known Asiophile.

I imagine a Government Report on ''Work Visas" will paint a much... different and Asian... picture...

    Definition of ‘Settler’
Settlers comprise persons arriving in Australia who are one of the following:
􀂉 Holder of a permanent visas.
􀂉 Holder of a temporary (provisional) visa where there is a clear intention to settle.
􀂉 New Zealand citizens who indicate an intention to settle.
􀂉 A person otherwise eligible to settle.

Luckily, they were kind enough to explain the term.
Seems I was right. I'm more interested about the number of Asians on Work and Student Visas.

As it says in the immigration watch link below we have up to half a million work Visa holders. I will say that from what I see personally it seems that around 60% possibly more of our migrants are Asian of some type. Univeristy students where I am seem to be 70% Asian, permanent or not. It's also pretty easy to get residency after you get a 457 or student visa and I have no doubt the vast majority will be exploiting that.

It needs to be kept in mind that our overall population is around 21 million so hundreds of thousands of migrants a year makes a absolutely huge impact.
