Coastline for Hungary

Between 1102-1918, Kingdom of Hungary had access to the sea.

However we lost Dalmatia, and then after WW1 Kingdom of Croatia-Slavonia separated. The Yugoslavs then annexed the city of Fiume/Rijeka, which at the time was directly part of Hungary as Corpus Separatum

As a result of this tragedy, we lost all of our fleet, and all trade and industry connected with maritime activities. Between 1920-1944 we were a landlocked country ruled by an Admiral who rode around on horseback.

How should we circumvent this issue? (Poll incoming)

Well, if you want a serious answer, I believe the militarization of former Yugoslavia is too strong for you to reclaim any land there. However, you might find better luck conquering Romania. I sense much stronger nationalism in Hungary. You could more than double Magyar land area, and get a nice stretch of coast on the Black Sea (just stay away from the sturgeons please!). After that, you could ally with Moldova and conquer some of Ukraine's coast, with some of the land being allotted to Moldova for their contributions.
