Yes! Precisely...Yes! I was afraid of the stigma attached to people who are avowed preservationists. This has kept me silent in the past, but no more. I live in a city where multiculturism is promoted as an idyllic mindset, and many are drawn into the belief that the appreciation of diversity and the diluting of our own Anglo-Saxon derived culture is something worth lauding.
I recall going to a restaurant one tragic morning, since I felt like a nice Canadian breakfast consisting of Pancakes with maple syrup, hash browns, 2 eggs, bacon, and sausages was in order. I walked into this establishment with the aforementioned meal in mind. Lo and behold, I come to find it was an Indian-run enterprise! The worst part of it was that these dishonest swindlers used an authentically Canadian sounding name for their place: "Sadie's Diner". Every single employee was of Indian descent, and could barely muster a few comprehensible words in English! The menu had no such thing as ordinary pancakes. Instead they were offering such exotic dishes as "Tandoori Masala with Chapati".
I thought: The nerve! The audacity! I was livid, and demanded to speak to the owner, Sadie herself. Wouldnt you know it, but their trickery knew no bounds. There was no Sadie. The restaurant's patron was a swarthy Hindu named Sadievindher Karachi. When I demanded where are the donuts, the pancakes, the maple syrup, the perogies and croissants on his menu, he feigned ignorance and did not even understand half of the items I mentioned.
I can no longer consider this acceptable, I have to make a stand.

Well I believe it is your prerogative to doubt my veracity...I understand. I'm here to learn and also to participate, whether my person is in question or not is not as important as questioning the rectitude of my opinions.

Dear Archie;
Just be honest and clear about who you are and what you're here for, that's all I, and everyone else, will ask of you.
Virtually all Apricity regulars are very experienced in the forum circuit, and we can detect dishonesty immediately (well, at least in most cases).
Even the trolls must have some reason for signing up. They'd be doing everyone (mainly themselves) a favor by examining their motives, and then acting accordingly.
