Yeah especially the verbs and the cases. I would say that German is easier than Russian but harder than English IMHO.

Definitly. Russian is almost impossible to learn for an adult. I gave it a try but gave up pretty soon.
How hard German is I can hardly judge but I guess its kind of between English and Slavic languages for an Italian
