Did you percieve the pseudo-fascist government as a warning against NWO/EU/UN/(insert world organisation here)?

I thought it was more a warning against the so-called far-right. The party's name "NorseFire" was lifted from the BritishNationalFront and the story was devised in the 80's-at a time when the NF were making major gains in British politics.

The left-right paradigm doesn't really exist, in my view. It's a phoney system used to make things look more transparent but it never is. I appreciated V for Vendetta because it's what we're living in this exact day and age completely.

Although I enjoy the book and movie intensely, Moore did write it as a critique of Thatcher's reign and a warning against totalitarian responses to social woes. Much of his work during the 80s was within this vein.
