Without wishing to turn into ABF troll Debian, (I think he posts under the username of 'Bloody' in this forum), many people underestimate how many dark-haired and dark-eyed (but NOT, I hasten to add, dark-skinned) Brits there are. You cant argue with americans of British Ancestry, they know better about Britain than yourself. In reality I find most brits to be somewhat swarthy. I am used to lightness and tallness of North Germany, Netherlands, Scandianvia and Baltic countries. Most Brits and French look rather regular Altantic/Western European, aka Swarthy.
