We often describe some looks as "Greco-Roman". I know I have described my own features as such; aquiline nose, dark hair, eyes, etc. And I can say that modern central Italians and some Greeks today do not cluster far from one another genetically nor look that different phenotypically.
So, my question is what is the difference we'd expect in ancient times between the two? Which appearances or elements were more common in Rome versus Greece?
I'd assume Romans would have had more "Atlantid" type elements, while Greeks would have had more "Kurganid" types, but overall both populations would have had the same Neolithic West Asian strain, and a Mediterranean base.
