I most of the time say "Spaniards" because I know there are many U.S. North Americans in this board, that if I say "Spanish" they are going to think about any "Spanish" speaking people that could be from Mexico or from any central or South American country. When I say "Spaniard", I am more specific, and everybody (and particularly North Americans) will know that I am talking about people from Spain.
