But Still has fairly healthy foreign investment & high GDP. Due to being a place to locate for foreign, tax-evading, large businesses. Like Google.

not to mention a fairly ethnocentric diaspora, where even second generation emigrants like myself ONLY purchase certain goods such as butter, oatmeal, and whiskey from ireland ... fuckin kerrygold butter man. I probably contribute at least 500 euro a year to the irish economy if I tallied up every Irish import I buy.
