I remember her from the Swamp Thing movie.

Escape from New York is an 80s B-movie. John Carpenter is being reevaluated now but he wasn't 25 years ago when he came up with Metal Gear solid.

Swamp Thing was directed by Wes Craven. Barbeau did a couple of films for George Romero. Those three directors are good scream queen credentials.
