I have posted many Austrians, not cherry picked, and the majority have light eyes.

Dont you post blondes only? The combination of blond (light) hair and brown eyes isn't rare in Austria either btw.

That PDF file is a study done. It states Slovenians have 70% light eyes. By the National Forensic Laboratory in Slovenia. Therefore Austrians would be higher. I have posted many Austrians, not cherry picked, and the majority have light eyes.

Let us the crap, 56% of Slovenes have blue or green eyes. Approximately 60% of Austrians are light - eyed and 72.4% in Poland.

I wonder how common are dark eyes among ethnic Germans.

Approximately 30% for the entire country, but in northern regions it's lower.

Close to half of those I've known over the years had either brown or hazel eyes. Most having various shade of brown hair, often medium to dark.

In Baden and Bavaria, over 30% are brown - eyed!
