Although there are more people with Figo's pigmentation in Portugal than in most other European countries, it is too far-fetched to say that the majority of Portuguese people are as or more swarthy than him.

It depends where. I doubt the average person in Navarra, Asturias, Veneto or Lombardy is as dark as him.

Even the average Portuguese is not as dark.. did you see the PortuguesePhenotypes page? If so, you should go and look and revise your estimates based on it, since the Portuguese posters said that site was accurate.

Now, is their perception of how those phenotypes fit elsewhere accurate? IMO, no. To me they are all Atlantid and Atlanto-Med types.

^ What makes Figo look atypical is that he has a giant nose.

About 5-15% for Scots. Going through it. Excluding old timers and children.

for me... those phenotypes are too light. some of the actors have photos that make them look lighter than what they really are...

Even in that case I'd put the amount of Portuguese who look "Med" enough (and of the right subtype) to pass as southern Italian between 30-35% (not the inflated 75% someone said) and for Greeks about the same, 25-35% (not 60% like someone said).
