Naveen Andrews as Sayid Jarrah in Lost. They managed to find the most Indian looking guy to portray an Iraqi. Looks ridiculous in the scenes where he's around actual Arabs.

I loved this show! IMHO the first 3 seasons were as good as TV series can get. I pity those who missed it. It was a phenomenon. I don't remember another show aired in Poland that would spark so many spontaneous discussions between people in daily life.
As far as Sayid's character goes I was not bothered by the casting as a kid watching the show originally, lol. And still Iraqi's can overlap with some more Caucasoid looking Indians better than Saudi Arabs for sure.

German actor Klaus Kinski playing Spanish conquistador Lope de Aguirre in "Aguirre, the Wrath of God" (1972):

It depends on if Aguirre was a light/blondish Spaniard. I don't know if he was, and would have to check into it, and if he wasn't, then it wasn't a good role play representation, but not because Spaniards like that are uncommon, lol
PS: not saying they are super common or typical, but they aren't uncommon either, if that's what you imply.

I don't know if was mentioned before, but Leon S. Kennedy from Resident Evil game franchise and that new terrible movie Welcome to Raccoon City. I mean, why an Indian actor, seriously???? With a name like Leon Scott Kennedy? Hilariously bad choice.
Like what the hell???
