Hey, taking into account your time here, and how many posts this thread has, I'm almost sure that this question has been asked to you more than once, but since I'm not reading all the 5000+ posts here (I've read the first and last pages only), let me ask you:
Other day I saw your posting being nationalist/patriotic towards G. Britain...
do you consider yourself white? (you can use the sense white including only the NW Europeans, or the large sense about all European descendants being white... as you please)

IRL, probably. I'm very open about being Jewish but the reality is that despite being Jewish and even having recent ancestry from Iraq/India, I look white, and that's the main criterion for being accepted as such. I don't think I even look too out of place for NW Europe. It would be bizarre of me to identify as non-white and people would consider it an SJW-type thing to do. But my ideology isn't predicated on ethnic nationalism, so it's not a core issue that I grapple with.

I have many relatives there, as close as an uncle, two aunts, and three first cousins, so if it were to explode or sink into the sea, it would affect me in a fairly direct way. And I do perceive a large amount of criticism of Israel to be intertwined with anti-Semitism or to incorporate it, which also affects me. Israel's actions can alleviate or inflame these passions, and the general Zionism of the Jewish communities can also affect them. So it is impossible for me to be fully divorced from Israel. I would however ideally like to consider it as I consider Greece - a western ally with no connection to me. But this is not possible for reasons beyond my control. This is also true of America, where I hold citizenship, and where I have a lot of family, but again, whilst I cannot pretend to be entirely impartial, my foreign policy doesn't treat either country as special or elevated.

However, I do not support its sports teams, I do not care about its successes or lack of said in the Olympics, I don't really care about its internal politics, and I am critical of its occupation of the West Bank. I advocate against Jewish nationalism in the UK and am strongly opposed to people making aliyah (emigrating to Israel). Additionally I am openly critical (IRL) of Jews who value Israel over [country of citizenship].

I am inherently opposed to all permanent migration except in cases of absolute need - ie, genuine refugees (for example, the Rohingya). I am specifically and strongly opposed to migration for reasons of nationalism, be it ethnic nationalism or Zionism, because to support it would both directly contradict my personal philosophy and massively undermine my own position, which is civic nationalism. If I agreed with Zionism in that Jews belong in and have inherent rights to Israel, that would include me, and therefore I would be a foreigner in the UK, albeit it a benevolent foreigner, and so would everyone I know in the Jewish community here. But the reality is we are not foreigners - this is our country of origin, and citizenship, and the country that nurtured, nourished, and safeguarded us for all our lives and the lives of our parents and grandparents, going back, in my case, 400 years. This is the society we are part of, the society that created us and the society that we owe an eternal debt to.

Migrating - and this applies to everyone who isn't actively being persecuted by their home nation - is essentially welching out on that debt.

Besides, Israel is simply not my home. Yes, everyone practices Judaism there but they speak a language that isn't mine, their cultural norms, politics, foods, weather, country, history - all not mine. I have no connection there except that my religion values it (but does not require me to live there) and that I have connections there. But as I pointed out, I have many more connections to America, and America isn't my country either.

All this applies to most other diaspora Jews, but with an addendum: every family that leaves weakens the community here. Every friend of mine that leaves (so far, no close ones have, or intend to, thankfully) is a friend who has said 'my ethnic nationalism is more important than all my cherished relationships in this country.' It's rude and anti-social. I appreciate that moving someplace for a job, ideally temporarily, happens. I studied in Italy for a year. But effectively cutting ties to go and be a member of what amounts to in many respect the type of state you simply wouldn't accept elsewhere - a nationalist entity - is IMO damaging and a little dishonest.

What sickens me is when leftists do it - and most right-wingers stay put. These people will relentlessly criticise nationalism in the US and even in Israel to a degree and then go and participate. Granted, these hypocrites are a very small number of people but they exist. I know a man, very left-wing, decided to leave the US and go and live in a settlement in the Golan Heights. Disgusting. Don't get me wrong, if he had been a Kahanist I'd have still considered it an ill-conceived move, but at least it'd have been ideologically consistent.

Also, Israel is a fairly crowded country outside the Negev and I don't advocate more people disturbing its pristeen archaeological sites and bravely conserved wildlife (one of the things you absolutely have to give to the Israelis, they are fantastic conservationists).
