I've met quite a few Hungarians, many great people, a few bad. I have some cousins who live out by Balaton. Unfortunately I've never been to Hungary, but my mother enjoyed Budapest. Hopefully I will visit one day, after Covid.

I had a Hungarian au pair briefly, but he wasn't suited to the role. He was a good guy, though. We replaced him with a Macedonian, I think.

What's the funniest prank you pulled on someone?

Passover is always my favourite but I liked Simkhat Torah (at the end of Sukkot/Tabernacles) and Purim because you get lots of sweets, similar to Hallowe'en. The difference is you go to your neighbours and give them sweets, rather than demanding them.

I always liked Sukkot because I liked building the Sukkah with my father.
