I don't think its all that common. It's not a beneficial or productive natural survival mechanism for humans physiologically. If it were ok to do it wouldn't create so many genetic problems.

The majority of the list is SSA countries. That begs the question: Is the high incest there the result of their Islamicized culture, or their native SSA culture?!

in all honesty, from my own personal experience I can tell you that SOME Muslims practice a type of incest. Its not like it sounds exactly but it has more to do with keeping family fortunes or heirs, well.........in the family, LOL

I have some Muslims friends and I know one lady who says her sister in law is also her 5th cousin and stuff like her mother's aunt was also distantly related to her mother in another way.

Its not like inbred shit in the first cousin sense but its not unusual for distant relatives to marry one another for the sake of the heirs and family fortunes and although I dont if this is true or not but I'd imagine it's probably more common or typical of upper class or even some middle upper class families

and I cant speak for all Muslim countries too. The people I know are only from Lebanon and Palestine.
