Yeah, mustaches were pretty cool back then. Too bad that most women today prefer hairless men.
Women prefer all sorts of things, some (probably most) clean shaven, but some like full beards. The best thing to do is not to pay attention to women, in reality they're not very picky anyway.

Because so much of my family died for Serbs, for being Serbian, we greatly value our culture and our identity. I try to help Serbs however I can which these days is mostly donating once a month. There is more that can be done though.

I think there's just one error in the text. There were no samurai in 1905. Samurai were outlawed as a class in 1868. They still rebelled afterwards (like in Satsuma), but by 1905 the Japanese army had adopted western tactics. They still used the katana instead of the sabre, but that was it. Most of the great Japanese swordsmen probably died of hunger after the abolition of the samurai class (most samurai became very poor after the government stopped paying their stipends in gold). I've noticed the article doesn't mention the name of the Japanese warrior that was beheaded. Who was him, what was his rank, etc? He also must have had an interesting life until that time.

all Russian sources that I found mention that it was a samurai. even though they were outlawed before that period, there is a high possibility that some of them were still active in army, not as a class but as individual soldiers or officers with same fighting style as samurai. anyway, if he was not a samurai he was certainly best Japanese swordsman His name is unknown. I never learned Japanese, so I can't look up for Japanese sources...

In any case, Montenegrin folk song dedicated To Aleksandar Lekso Saičić

Still about outdated weapons in 20th century wars, is it true that in the Yugoslav Wars in 1991 there were militias that used crossbows to fight each other? I heard this happened because crossbows aren't considered illegal weapons to trade and they could bypass the blockade on arms dealing that humanitarian agencies created around Yugoslavia. It seemed so weird when I read that, people fighting with crossbows in 1991. And usually arms dealer are experts in smuggling guns wherever they're needed.

lol, soldiers did not used crossbows. but I know for sure that one of my cousins made a professional modern crossbow with a laser and optics for one officer who used it for fun (not shooting on people). It was probably a way for higher ranked officers to pass some time while resting.
