    Default Rebirth

The idea has been with us since time immemorial, many different belief systems had/have it.

Even more scientific minds are warming up to this possibility, there has been some scientific work done on the subject as well.

The strange past life memories some kids have, the feeling we get sometimes like we have been through it already, or been there already and find new things totally familiar to us, etc

Do you think rebirth is reality?

I think that a dude from Virginia worked on it for a couple of decades, I think he was from University of Virginia. Can't remember his name. Google him I'm sure is there. There were others as well.

Dr. Ian Stevenson. He relies in hypnosis which is proven to be useful to manipulate a persons behavior while under the hypnosis effects, yet we don't what happens in the brain. His whole study is based on what goes on in the brain while in hypnosis. His study does not prove anything other than hypnotized children can tell weird stories. I have read about this before.

You drawing conclusions before you know much about it, your mind is made up already. You really believe yourself authority on the subject after 10 minutes of research? Delusional much?

Isn't it true about what Dr. Ian Stevenson did. There are lots of people who claim studies, but most of them are based in premeditated ideas. Maybe you should look at it from different perspectives before you make your mind. For instance, let's say there is a re-incarnation:
    1. That means that our memories are carried in memory by a "ghost". Memories are information that needs to be stored somehow. If the memories are carried by the "soul", then does that mean the brain does not have any memories? No let's go and explain the physical process for storing and transferring that information form brain to brain.
    2. Since population is increasing at an exponential rate then does that mean there is a soul factory somewhere? And where is that? Is there physical proof?. Some religions claim that souls re-incarnate in animals, but animals are getting extinct at a rate much slower than population growth. Maybe souls are coming from insects, but this defeats the entire idea of souls, since insects are soulless.
    3. Since ghosts and souls save data, then they must have a physical space. When is that space? Is it somewhere is the universe? What about other world in the universe that may have life? If they are somewhere else in the universe then they need to travel which takes energy, where do they get the energy and how come it has never been detected. A few grams lost in a scale when people die does not make proof of soul either.

So who is delusional who blindly takes an idea that's physically impossible without giving any thought to it?

    LOL

I have not stated my position yet! haha

So you think that it's possible for information to be destroyed? I thought that the latest in scientific world says that's impossible even if that info is sucked into a black hole.

Do you know something I do not?

I have started trying to believe in rebirth. My theory is that you get reincarnated but without memories of your former selves.
