I started having severe abdominal pain Sunday two weeks ago. I've had endometriosis surgery seven times before and it felt to me like an endometriosis flare-up. After X-rays and ultrasounds they finally operated. The endometriosis had fused my uterus to my bladder (which had to be separated), the ovaries were glued onto my uterus by the endometriosis and huge cysts were attached to the masses of scar tissue from the previous surgeries. In a nutshell, it was a huge mess. I told the gynae to take the whole lot out. It was beyond rescue anyway.

Now I look forward to menopause which has already started slightly in the form of hot flushes.
