Richest 85 People Own As Much Wealth As Poorest 3.5 Billion: Oxfam

This is completely immoral. My solution: confiscate two thirds of the liquid wealth of these 85 individuals, and redistribute to the world's poorest 3 billion. The world would be a better place, and the world economy would boom as well.

I heard those guys who took power in Russia in 1917 had similar ideas "lets take it all and divide it equally". It didn't work and it can not work.

If you take money from the richest people on Earth and give it to the poor, then money will become useless very quickly, besides, you cant even do that since most of that money is invested. So how do you proceed ? force them to sell their investments and then divide it among the poor ? ) guess what happens then ?

oxfam is one of those disgusting organisations which feeds itself by appealing to the "morals of the people in the West". Their marketing is rather brilliant though, they tell the consumers that peasants who collected the coffee or tea leaves which are sold under the brand of Oxfam have been "fairly compensated" for their efforts. In reality Oxfam is just a brand which attracts a niche of people who are naive enough to believe them. A brilliant business model I must say, whoever invented Oxfam, fairtrade and other known brands is a genius.
