currently there are hardly some protesters left, its mostly radical, nationalistic violent rioters who remain. the state uses similar groups of thugs and gangsters, transported from all over ukraine, against them, plus police snipers.
janukovič used to be a thug and gangster himself, he was convicted for felony and suspected of rape.

Just look at what western clowns coming to Ukraine say, all they want is elections, then new president would say Russia goodbye and sell Ukraine to west. Weak moron Yanukovich also greatly helped them instead of pushing cornered maidan rioters he started negotiations with powerless clowns like Yatsenyuk and Klitchko and let radicals recieve reinforcements and organize counter attack. Now Yanukovich is facing thousands armed and organized rebels who are too strong for poorly equiped and outnumbered police.
For now Yanukovich either lose capital and country or order army to suppress rebelion. Both choices would mean hundreds if not thousands dead.
