    They don't seem that expensive, considering that one would wear them on very rare ocassions, so the chance of it deteorirating from wear is low.

    romanians don't buy them in general. most people do not own one, some of them people inherit them from grandparents. they are on sale but mostly for collection purposes. they can get very expensive because it can take months to make one...and each model is unique. imagine to sew something like this manually

    they seem those cheap types not unique hand-made models. i have a lot of these at home. they look like they're sewed but they're not.
    they're machine-made series

    Yes, it takes time to make handmade clothes.

    This is mine (Southern Sweden costume):




    Are those different models connected to some special area of Romania or are all of them someway ''fine'' to all people in Romania (no matter where one comes from)?

    every region has a different style. Aeduard posted above costumes from different regions. even among the same region there are differences but all of them are this colorful and full of details
