Maybe it depents in wich province you are..? I know people from Avellino and they look quite similair to Calabrese or Sicilians I've seen.

What about people like Serena Autieri or the neapolitan user BlondeSalad of this board? They're mostly atlantid and their phenotypes aren't a ''rarity'' in the city.

East Med is by far the most dominant, closely followed by Gracile Med.

True, I also some people here and there with that phenotype.
But they're also not really uncommon in Sicily right ?

How would you describe Claudio Gioè from the miniserie Corleone ?

Someone like this.. it is more or less a Gracile Med with some sort of faint West Asian influence.

    No, it's not

Anyway I think that people misuse the term "East Med". It is simply a Gracile Med, with minor West Asian influence.

Yep mostly in the Conca D'Oro (palermitan valley) but some even in the woggy east...like Miriam Leone.

Claudio Gioè is from Palermo and has an interesting look...i would say that's panitalian.

Look a bit like the singer Jovanotti (tuscan) and the neapolitan actor Alessandro Siani
