Paris (AFP) - Tens of thousands of people marched in Paris and Lyon on Sunday against new laws easing abortion restrictions and legalising gay marriage, accusing French President Francois Hollande's government of "family phobia".

Police said 80,000 people took to the streets of the French capital, creating a sea of blue, white and pink -- the colours of the lead organising movement LMPT (Protest for Everyone) -- who gave a far higher turnout figure of half a million.

Having been to France quite a few times and seen just how multi-cultural the cities are, I'm always somewhat surprised there's any "real" Frenchmen left.

Traditional French family structure by definition is not polygamy so we can assume it's supported by ethnic-French rather than the usual cultural enrichers, as in during Hollande's election victory, when we see more foreign flags (mainly Muslim) than French;

You're previous post doesn't make sense in the context of this thread. No 'real Frenchmen'? So if your French and support gay marriage you become nationless? And the demonstrations are against gay marriage, not polygamy, so again you're post makes no sense. And there is no culture in the world that regards gay marriage as traditional so multiculturalism has nothing to do with gay marriage.
