Why don't men wear skirts?

Women wear both skirts and trousers...why can't men have the same fashion freedom?

Do you guys fear you will be seen as gay if you wear skirts?
If you are a woman would you like to see your man in a skirt or kilt, and if you are a man would you be brave enough to wear a skirt or kilt?

I dig the look of a proper Plaid (read: Proper plaid, not simply a pattern or the design) and kilt. Something about it though still seperates it from a common skirt.

I think the difference is in the undies. A kilt will become a skirt if yer wearin' somethin' underneath.

Trousers don't make much sense to begin with.

Well, the Scottish Highlanders wear kilts which can be considered skirts, and they were pretty ferocious warriors.
