Yes, a majority of native English people do have light eyes and hair, BUT NOT AS MUCH AS DO THE DUTCH AND GERMANS. Furthermore, the purpose of the thread is to debate why these anomalies in ethnic groups/nations occur viz-a-viz their neighbours.

The pre-neolithic folk of these isles were pale with dark hair and eyes, and this got interrupted by the Celts, and then the Anglosaxons, who had a greater impact on Eastern populations. Happy?

Well, I've been to Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Bochum and Cologne. I can say that North Germans are blonder than East Anglians, even if not by much.

In that case, as I've explained, their Iraqi neighbours have undue Arabid influence from the south which most Iranians don't have. Afghans and other Central Asians are pretty fair.
