It matters for prestige, but actually it shouldnt matter, there is a old saying if you are a hedgehog marry a hedgehog. so if indian girls are ugly they should marry ugly indian guys, indians divide themselfes by caste, region, ethnic group, language, religion, i dont consider them all ugly, but some really are, but if they are ugly they should marry someone just as ugly from their region, caste, language, religion.
