Yes, you're probably right there was a lot of racism but this, whilst not being justified in anyway, also means they didn't play a significan part in building Australia as Skyburn claimed (although there were a handful of exceptions before 1975).

Australia, like America, is not a 'white country'. It's a country created by immigrants. And it's a country which is made stronger by hardworking people, regardless of background (that being said, immigration needs to be more gradual to ensure people actually integrate).

The more Australia trade with Asian countries, have companies offshore in Asian countries also as a workforce, more Asians are going to come here, i am not surprised about it.
Australia is not a 'historically white' land and we've only been here just over 300 years, if that for most of us. Only Europe's cultural future concerns me at all.
