The first one, Kilicia, is a good example of why Armenian Music isn't uniformly of a Middle Eastern, Near Eastern, or Iranian flavor. Lusine Zakarian's rendition of "Kilicia" is one of my favorites from Zakarian's repertoire. It has a Western Operatic European Flavor, with a tragic Armenian undercurrent, as deep as the sky.
