Individually maybe. But collectively, they don't look British/Northern European to me. Some may disagree, but I think they look more Greek (as a group). I'm not saying their the same as Greeks of course.

They look southwestern rather than southeastern, with a few that look southeastern.

I think he was expecting to see Indian alike pigmentation and/or Arab faces.
We do overlap with those Islands and the French and Italians.(North Italians It seems)

To an extent, but as I said earlier I don't think an outright majority could pass. I'm saying that based not only on these photos but also other ones I've seen of the Portuguese, as well as ones I've seen and met in real life both here and in Portugal itself.

That's what I was saying. In many group pics between 1-3 would look especially Southeastern (Greek or Balkanian). The rest being mainly southwestern, sharing elements with both other southern Europeans and French.

Although a minority, there are definitely more Portuguese people with darker skin tones (not like Indians necessarily, but at least like Turks or Lebanese) than is true of many other European countries/peoples; this really cannot be denied.

Not that I wish to detract from AI's excellent photos, but I did make these two threads myself about the Portuguese:

There are no better examples than rural people. Rural people are the best examples.

Yes, I agree. I might see something shared with northern Italians, but I see only very limited overlap with Sicilians and southern Italians.
