The Deep Web - thread

I messed around on the Deep Web for a while. By "a while" I mean about a week (if not less). I didn't find it very user-friendly and there wasn't anything that interested me. I'm not into drugs, so the Silk Road didn't interest me. I don't need a hitman either. I found a weird and wonderful UFO site which was last used a long time ago by very few people and a Neo-Nazi site with swastika flags. I came across something about classified documents from the DDR and since I'm not interested in politics I left it. Then I clicked on a random link and ended up with a picture of a naked preteen in a corset. That was the end of the deep web for me. Never been back since.

I'm too scared to go Plus my need to go there is inexistant, but it sounds so mysterious, so hidden that, as a curious person, I'd like to see it. Anyway, I assume for 99% of the people, there is no need to.

There isn't much to see (in MY opinion). If you are not up to anything illegal then it is pointless. It isn't user-friendly and full of mirror sites. If you find a site today, it might not be there tomorrow because the addresses change constantly. It's more trouble than it is worth.

What I found the creepiest is the search options. On the normal web you get the option to filter adult content so that if you type in "geranium" you end up with the plant and not some weirdo with a flower bouquet in his asshole. In the deep web you have the option to "filter child porn". Horrible. Horrible. In a place where you need to filter CP, I want no part of it.

Don't know if hoax or not, but there's a screenshot that is supposedly taken from the 'deeper' parts of this realm, in which a so-called doctor from Eastern Europe talks about how he takes little girls from the orphanage and turns them into sex dolls and sells them. He gives every single detail of how he does that, cutting their parts and such, pretty scary.

There's also this thing that a guy claims to have witnessed, it's like a live cam show featuring a brazen bull in which people, adult or children, are thrown into and roasted to death and people pay to watch that.
