    But pretty rich.

Food in UK is pretty bland and people aren't really open to new things so much. Spicy food (that isn't curry or korma) isn't really liked which is a shame.
I've had English food before, and it wasn't spicy at all. I like bangers and mash. Where I live, almost everything is spicy. But of course this is regional to where I live in the United States, as most of the food in the U.S. is not Spicy. The food of my ethnicity (Canary Islands, Spain) is not a spicy cuisine, but is flavorful. When we make Spanish food here we tend to give it a little more spice than in Spain because where we live is a spicy food area of the U.S. and we have gotten used to that. So if I make paella, I give it a couple of dashes of red pepper to spice it a little.

I make a mean pot of red beans my friend. Have you ever cooked Cajun food before? Ever had gumbo? I cook Cajun food and Spanish food mostly. But when I do Louisiana style food, I throw down. Are there any Cajun restaurants where you live?

I've never had haggis, but I've seen it on tv. Looked and sounded like something I wouldn't wanna eat, lol.

I like Indian food, it's spicy. I'm used to spicy food, I grew up in Louisiana where the food is very spicy. I could fit right in at the Indian dinner table, lol.

There are some and they aint bad. But nothing like what you'd get in Louisiana. I've made some jambalaya before but thats about it. It turned out good though but its slow cookin.

Most all of the food in Louisiana is slow cookin'. That's how the flavors develop to be soooo damn good. Unlike Chinese food where everything is sooo fast. I cook Chinese at home regularly and it's like 90% prep and the cooking last a short period. Cajun food is the opposite.

A lot of Chinese food is slow cooking too. But the ones in Chinese American restaurants are mostly just fast cooked.
