The Battle of San Pasqual was a military encounter that occurred during the Mexican-American War in what is now the San Pasqual Valley community of the city of San Diego, California. On December 6 and December 7, 1846, the Californios, and their Presidial Lancers, led by General Don Andres Pico, (1810-1876), defeated Stephen W. Kearny´s US Army column of 150 men.

So then why to ask "why is good" when you have it all already figured out?. It is fiction to you so there is not point to waste any argumentation to try to make you understand details about a given creed.

I was asking why in some countries (like Australia, where I live) it's called "Good Friday" though it's the day Jesus died.

It is utterly sad because Jesus died but it is good because he sacrificed and humiliated himself in the sake of mankind.

Mankind is too full of sinners but as God loves his children the men that much, he sent his son, Jesus to die for us and to wash the sins of the whole mankind with his holly blood and his sacrifice and at the same time teach us to be humble and to forgive our enemies for Jesus being the Son of God was mighty powerful nevertheless he was capable to humillate himself and to forgive those who accused and assasinated him eventhough he was powerful enough to wipe out them and to save himself, he didnt.
