I have relatives who got into a romantic relationship together. They had connected at a relatives wedding. They are first cousins once removed. I told them how I thought it was wrong. They said, "It's not like we're having children together."
To me it was so disturbing. They clearly look very related, and are. They are on my mother's side of the family, they (including them) are a bunch of narcissists, so maybe that explains some of it (their mentality).
