Munich (German: München) is the capital of the German state of Bavaria and besides an industrial center also a major tourist destination. On this summer day we walk around the inner city. Starting from the Karlsplatz we first walk to the Marienplatz, the central square of the city. We visit several nearby churches such as the iconic Frauenkirche and also check out the food market "Viktualienmarkt". This tour covers a good range of sights with ending at the Odeonsplatz near the Hofgarten from where we will start another walk. Filmed in June 2019 Camera: Osmo Pocket in 4K60 Mic: Zoom H1
After our longer tour through Munich (https://youtu.be/mlS89Cd176M) on this short walk we start at the Hofbräuhaus, the legendary beer hall in the centre of the city. We walk to the old town hall, pass the new impressive town hall and make our way around the busy shopping streets there. It's time for some side streets where we end up an "Sendlinger Tor". From there at the edge of the inner city we walk back up to the Karlsplatz with a popular fountain on this hot summer day. The sun is setting yet it is still some minutes to the Königsplatz, Munich's gallery and museum quarter, where we end this short evening walk. Seit 2002 ist die 180 Kilometer lange Schnellfahrstrecke zwischen Köln und Frankfurt/M in Betrieb. Mit Tempo 300 rasen ICE3 und der VelaroD zwischen den Metropolen. im Jahre 2012 sind wir mitgefahren, waren im Führerstand bei 300 km/h und haben an der Strecke gewartet. Viel Spaß beim Anschauen.

Een trip-report (reisverslag) van de sneltrein tussen Aken in Duitsland en Maastricht in Nederland (lijn RE18). Arriva Limburg onderhoud deze lijn. De treinen die op deze lijn worden gebruikt zijn van het type FLIRT, geproduceerd door Stadler Rail. Deze trein stopt o.a. ook in Herzogenrath, Heerlen en Valkenburg. In de video laat ik het station van Aken, de trein en uitzichten vanuit de trein zien.
