Have you ever been in Novi Pazar?

I was 3 times.
2 times I was when I visited Đurđevi Stupovi monastery which is located on one hill above Novi Pazar. I was walking through Novi Pazar street all 3 times.

Live Sandžakians alone, they were not Serbs, they are not Serbs and never will be. They adopted Serbian language in the last 100-150 years ahd that is their only connections with Serbs. What I poined out in my previous post was that there was migrations not only from Turkey, but from the levant and the caucus; the guy I posted has minor Arabian as an example. So they could definetely have other admixs without a doubt. Look up Esad Dudžo for a good example, he surely has levant admixture.

I want to be clear, we don't have any autosomal samples posted from Novi Pazar, only Y dna results. The argument here is based off historical evidence, the fact that the city was founded by Turks, there was migrations from the ottoman empire, and all the Muslims there identified as Turks which indicates probable mixing. As well as off phenotype evidence. Once we have some actual autosomal data from Novi Pazar you may be proven right, there may be little Anatolian influence, perhaps Levant. No one is claiming these people are predominantly Turkic though, in the same sense as actual Balkan Turks who have central asian admixture quite heavily in some cases.

Most of them by paternal line come from Kuci and Kelmendi. A lot of them are E-V13>Z16988>Z27131 which is Kelmendi marker.

Bulgaria,greece,macedonia,kosovo(not many tho), romania&moldova (mostly gagauz/tatar) have turkic/turkish miniorities. I don't know anything about turks in bosna, albania & serbia.

I agree, on average they are most similar to Albanians.
I despise Serbian idiots who claim Serbian origin of Sandžakians. They live in medieval Serbia Raška. They are not Serbs, but imported foreigners in 18th and 19th century.

as far as i know:

There is no Turks in Bosnia and Serbia, there are only Muslims, those are local people who adopted Islam during Ottoman rule.

Anatolians have mainly J2, R1b, G, R1a etc; often similar branches to Europeans or the same. Proto Turkic Y dna would be C or Q (others as well probably, I am not too familiar on proto Turkic Y dna).

R1b branch in Balkanites is the same as Anatolians; don't know about the others.
