Can a larger number of ethnic Bulgarians pass in Russia or in Turkey?

I always mentioned that closest people to us are other Balkanic nations first these of Orthodox religion.

I am thinking us Bulgaria and Russia except some cultural and historical ties are not like us, biut Bulgaria is undoubtely closer to Russia than Turkey in every aspect.

Okay if we stretch the definition who can be Turk because Turks are diverse

Turks are a total mish-mash of various peoples from Anatolia, Balkans, North Africa, Caucasus, The Levant and Central Asia, so saying someone looks like a Turk is utter nonsense. Half of Eurasia looks like Turk by this logic.

I'd have said Balkan-Mediterranean-Persian-Central Asian, but I know what you mean. Nevertheless, some Turks do look distinct.

Yes, the more Slavic looking Bulgarians can pass in Russia, the other swarthier types can pass in Turkey.

Bulgarians look nothing like Turks. Some Bulgarians can pass as Russian mostly from Southern Russia. Turks are a very mixed people so a lot of people can look like them due to recent Balkan influence in their country.
And Sikeliot what do you know about Bulgarian Turks that you decided to exclude them?

Considering the fact that Turkey is full of assimilated balkanites, I wouldn't say there's a Bulgarian who can't pass as a Turk.
