Turkic anthro thread

I would like to see what info there is on genetics and physical anthropology on Turkic peoples. Including less well known groups, like Turcomans of Irak, Turkey,Balkans, the Azeris and Tatar groups.

The type associated with Turkics is known as "Turanid". The original Turkics came from Central Asia, near Kazakhstan and Mongolia.
