Not a photograph but a video from an interesting time in the country's history, around the time of the Second World War

A speech by the dictator of the time; this was during the era of fascism. Things have changed a lot since then.

and the video of his execution after the war, around the time the Communists took power

The worst potential competition for any organism can come from its own kind. The species consumes necessities. Growth is limited by that necessity which is present in the least amount. The least favorable condition controls the rate of growth.

Memory never recaptures reality. Memory reconstructs. All reconstructions change the original, becoming external frames of reference that inevitably fall short.

Historians exercise great power and some of them know it. They recreate the past, changing it to fit their own interpretations. Thus, they change the future as well.

Those who would repeat the past must control the teaching of history.

Another important point in its history: some pictures during the time of the Romanian Revolution of 1989, which toppled Communism

Some historical figures I have been reading on lately, Here is Ion Moța, a nationalist deputy leader of Iron Guard (Garda de Fier) who along with Vasile Marin was killed fighting for Franco's forces in Spain in 1937, and some people associated with him

    ---

Mircea Eliade was a well-known philosopher of religion, writer, and essayist, who was controversial for sympathizing with fascism. But he had some good or interesting ideas too
