What is the comparison? I'd rather live in the U.S, from what I know about Russia (limited.) Both are equally destructive empires. I think Ayn Rand described my opinion on the United States well and her views on Russia sounds quite horrible to me, if it is accurate.

USA #1. Also, I think despite the stereotypes, that the USA isn't more decadent than is Russia. Looking at fragments of Russian television shows me lots of trash, for instance. But I don't like to badmouth Russia nor the USA.
However, the Russia-worshiping of some people here can take ridiculous proportions. People are more in love with the idea they have of that country. Sorry to ruin your party.
