Carl Gustav Jung was a Swiss psychiatrist, influential thinker, and founder of analytical psychology. Here he speaks about Death and the Human Psyche.

Jung speaks about death from a spiritual perspective, and gives his view that death is just as psychologically important as birth. Death is not necessarily an “end,” he says, because the psyche isn’t entirely confined to space and time (for instance, you can see dreams and visions of future).

The psyche may serve a practical continuation of life beyond time and space, and, as such, Jung believes death should be regarded as a goal and something to look forward to. No matter what your personal beliefs are, this video is sure to get you thinking.

Daimon in Greek means "spirit", it's not necessarily an evil spirit.

Jung doesn't understand well enough, there are people who have actually "died" and been able to give a better description of what happens. Basically, death is probably the most misunderstood event ever. Because you never really "die".. only your body does. But you -- your thoughts, feelings, consciousness etc actually keep on existing, and your senses are actually sharpened when your spirit leaves your body during "death" (i.e. separation of the body and spirit). So, "death" is merely a passing through from one dimension onto a deeper one, whilst still being conscious of the physical world (but unable to affect it without your physical body).

Because the Bible is the truth. If you don't realise yet that a spiritual world exists that is chock full of demonic beings, then you have much to learn. Even many non-Christians know that, or have experienced some of it.

That's interesting! And makes a lot of sense. It's a pity that the vast majority of people are not aware of these facts. The spirit world is real, and yes... many well-known people are influenced by demonic spirits, and also their works.

The meaning's change of the word demon is reminiscent of the spoils of the winners. It reminds of the ancient aristocrats who ended up in the galleys of Roman victors. It reminds… innumerable cases that confirm that the winner never respects the “holy and sacred” of the losers.
Let's take things to the beginning.
In antiquity the word demon (male and female) was perhaps the most pious word . It is produced by -deo. ((I divide) . Although co-existed with the word God, however, the demon was referring to impersonal and undefined power , while the god to the anthropomorphic divine entity. The concept of the demon was equivalent to fate.

Some also attributed the concept of "guardian angel" to guardian demon. Hence the word Eu-daimonia (: happiness, designated as having the favor of the Demon ,blessedness)

But, in time, the new religion is established: Christianity. The word that signified the pure god of the Ancient One had to acquire a negative meaning, and by a synonym of God it became a synonym of the Devil. The good angel becomes bad demon. Demons are now the evil spirits, (... «Vae victis»...) the angel of evil, the fallen angel who has Satan as its ruler (<satana in Hebrew: the adversary). So the words were created: demon, demonized, demon-struck, demonist, demon-worship, pandemonium, etc. This meaning has been transferred to Esperia as well (Italian: demoniaco, demonomania, pandemonio. French: demon. English: daemon, daimon. German: Damon)
It seems that the word did not even survive to the Greek city of Eudaimon, in the Red Sea, 10th century. B.C. The Romans will rename it / translate it into “Arabia Felix”. Today, it is the port of Aden (Yemen).
The last "resistance" is recorded in the word: eudaimonia, where demon is carried with the concept of God. Just to remind us that where we spit now (eg, "spit on you demonized"), some had deposited their soul's salvation.

Because the Bible is the truth. If you don't realise yet that a spiritual world exists that is chock full of demonic beings, then you have much to learn. Even many non-Christians know that, or have experienced some of it.

I'm not averse to the notion of a spiritual realm that lives in parallel with ours.

What I'm averse to is the notion that the highest power in the world chose to create a bunch of powerful beings and allowed them to rebel against him for the express purpose of tempting his created mortals. To me that's just so convoluted that it defies sanity. But hey maybe that makes sense to you and gives meaning to your life, so who am I to care? Except I do care, because people like you are determining the state of the country my children will live in.
