The Chelsea hairstyle has many variations. I've known some girls with your phenotype and they looked great with short hair.

I think my hair looks best when i gel and spike it up.
However, i rarely do that. I just leave it short as it is and trim it short at home.

I can see that working for you as well.The back could be shaved to the neck but again with an alpine/oval-like shape, (and even slightly squared jaw) I think it's very becoming on a woman.
