which OS do you use on your home desktop?

Windows XP. I'll try W7 after it gets first service packs (experience tells that all Windows suck without patching. XP started to be usable only after SP2).

XP at the moment but I'm keen to loose the Micro$oft monopoly. Google is starting to get into a lot of things lately too, Chrome, Chrome OS and Android (as well as the trouble over tracking what users do).
It makes you wonder why Google are so interested in it all, Chrome and Chrome OS are to get people to Google webs services but I don't see much in Android for them apart from advertising in the thousands of free apps.

I'm trying to make the switch to Ubuntu. Everything works at the moment apart from the mobile modem, to get it to work I'll need to connect to the internet to install a package but that is my only connection and because of the nature of Linux I can't simply download it as an .exe and the Linux alternatives to .exe (.rpm and .deb for Ubuntu) aren't widely used.
It's going to be a bit of a headache. Windows XP it stays for the time being then.

I only have the Windows Xp license so i can only admit to use Windows Xp.
