As some said here, there is a clear bias in terms of what constitutes a hot Romanian woman, or at least one deemed hot for TV or magazines. Most have sharp features, are rather tall, some resemble types less found, such as N. Pontid + Baltid, Atlanto-Meds or Subnordids.

The average Romanian woman in Ardeal has a round-ish face or a non-pronounced one, her jawline is not visible, her chin is underdeveloped or looks as if it connects much more to her neck due to the lack of a pronounced jaw. Positive canthal tilts are also rarely found here.

I won't talk about the south as I barely met any from that place. Don't get me wrong, there are some real beauties everywhere that are not types as the ones mentioned above, but the chances are that if you see a pretty woman in Transylvania, she's Hungarian.

Dude, come on. There are few chances to mistake a Romanian woman for a Hungarian, and vice-versa. The differences among Romanians and Hungarians are more pronounced for females - which is interesting in itself, because in general women look less ethnic than men.

I never said that you'd mistake a Romanian for a Hungarian, but that if you see a pretty woman on the street, she's probably Hungarian....or Moldavian, if in a student city.

Also plenty of Hungarian women phenotypes overlap with Transylvanian women, it would be ridiculous to assert that there is no commonality between two neighboring countries, especially in an area where they mixed to some extent. I understand what you mean because I live in Transylvania and in a lot of cases, Hungarian women are easy to recognize; when they're different, they're very different.

Cluj is a student city but the first two women and then the 4th in the video are my good or not good description of them. Faces might not be round but oval. Again, not all look like this, I may just remember these types too well but I find them very common.

For Ulev and rest: the interviewer is Moldavian.

2018 said 80k students in a 320k city . Say 10k are local students, that means the pop of the city is almost 400k so around 20% student population. Have you even been there in, say, November? You can barely see old people.

As of faces, I didn't literally check to ensure they all have oval faces, you might be right, I'm not here to argue my ability to discern face shape - they just look common, and this type of common is plain to me.

Well i was wrong about number of students, but i can't understend why did you consider romanian faces as round, when in reality you can find more people with round faces in Moldova, who have more baltid people. Also i din not sayed they are particulary pretty, they look plain to me as well, but also i can't figure how you do confuze face shapes, other facial features may differ from moldovians ones, but not the shape, and the moldovian reporter look quite similar with them

I think the interviewer has more refined features to be honest, also I don't agree that Moldavians have more round faces - longer oval , Pontid-like faces are more common here than the Carpathids in Transylvania. Also I don't agree that there are many Baltids in Moldova, maybe Gorids (which I know is somewhat transitional to Baltid but not the same).

I admit I'm wrong about the face shape overall as there are many types around here, but my main point is that there are many plain women here. Again, plain is not ugly.

These are pictures from a club in Zalau, so clearly local women.
