Maybe off-topic but I still don't think we should be using mercenaries. It's a Dutch team after all and whether the team should comprise of men from all over the Kingdom of the Netherlands or just the European Netherlands is a subject for debate.

We are fully non-foreigner team. A decade ago we got 3 Serbs and a Croat and later a black Brazilian, who played about 10 matches. Occasionally, we sometimes use another black Brazilian playmaker.

I don't classify Croatia as Western Europe. But yeah, it's true that most Eastern Euro teams are ethnically pretty homogeneous, bar the occasional Gypsy, Brazilian project/residency player or in Russia's case Caucasian.

congrats, I'm pretty sure spanish team will be soon just the reverse, most foreigners and 4 or 5 ethinc spaniards.

Seven years later and that still hasn't happened. Anyway, I thought I would revive this thread, given what Teutone and Stearsolina were saying in another thread about the German team - 30% non-native players at the time of writing means it is still in Class B.
