    No, he wasn't nominated again.

Kevin Volland took his place as the other attacker besides Miro Klose.

Yes but Paletta and Motta are ethnic Italians, even though they come from foreign countries.

lol, I just looked for Mario's ancestry, I thought he was half spanish half german and yeah, he is that.

But I dont' understand why his full name is Mario Goméz García, the two surnames of his father but he doesn't use his german mother surname, Roth (not necessarily a jewish surname, no anglojew? , Gómez and García of course are jewish surnames, we all know that anglojew, mon amour).

He has dual citizenship and opted to play for the German national team.
Good choice Mario, just when Spain won everything in football and surely it will not happen again in the next million years.

But he was born and raised in Germany... he did the right choice for me.

    Well, curious case this Mario.

I think Mario Gomez looks exactly what has to be expected when a Spaniard mixes with a German. And he has earned the best aspects of both sides, btw.

Anyway, here are the nominated German players for the World Cup in Brazil:

    Manuel Neuer
    Roman Weidenfeller
    Ron-Robert Zieler
    Philipp Lahm
    Jerome Boateng
    Per Mertesacker
    Mats Hummels
    Benedikt Höwedes
    Matthias Ginter
    Kevin Großkreutz
    Erik Durm
    Toni Kroos
    Bastian Schweinsteiger
    Mario Götze
    Marco Reus
    Mesut Özil
    Sami Khedira
    André Schürrle
    Christoph Kramer
    Julian Draxler
    Lukas Podolski
    Thomas Müller
    Miroslav Klose

23 players, 'only' 3 clear foreigners. 20 ethnic Germans. That's better than two and four years ago.
