    Brazil comes in first place with 65. Then Mexico with 16. And then Chile with 12.

    Brazil and Mexico are no brainers, because of their huge populations.

    But Chile really punches well above its belt, considering its small population. I thought Argentina might be 3rd.

    Nothing to be really proud about, though. Most of these belong to harmful monopolies.

    It is not really about being "proud" or not. It is a valuable information. It shows where one can amass a fortune more easily. One can certainly become a millionaire more easily in Brazil than in most other places in Latin America, just by the sheer size of this country and its resources.

    Sure, Chile is doing very well. But Chile isn't exactly a small country, having a total area of around 756,096 km2. Its population is lower though.

    He's the billionarie with most money. But that doesn't specifically give much insight into the total number of other billionaire persons living there.
