I was talking about a Frenchman and where he would fit better outside France. I thought this would be very clear, given it's the main theme of this thread.

Many savoyardes can pass here in Piemont, but in general they've a strong ''oil'' vibe.

All the ''midi occitans'', on the other hands, can fit everywhere here in the North (except maybe some weird looking alvernhascs, i saw some of them in the past).
