lets say you did something "wrong" in self defence, not like jesus who allowed other people to kill him.
so justice is kinda on your side, right? no, karma says otherwise. no, you cant defend yourself, you must accept your fate and get yourself killed by some drunk thug.

for doing something bad in the past, the universe will give you twice more that amount of evil in your next life (very smart), but you wouldnt know what is this for, so you will feel miserable and probably start doing even more evil because you begin to believe life is unfair, shitty and you need some way to express your anger connected with that belief etc

Not next life. By doing evil, you are generating bad carma for yourself in this life.

you do something bad, later possibly forget about it (or even regret it), but then we give you twice more of evil shit so you can feel like shit and start doing more evil, this time on purpose

Karma isn't about universe inflicting revenge on evil doers. Doing evil generates negative emotions in yourself and others around you what makes life misirable.
