Avatar 3D the movie, post your thoughts of it?

On Saturday I took Mrs G to Cheltenham to see Avatar, we both watched in amazement the 3D effects, the story unfolded and we were enthralled by the magic being told on screen.
For me the visual extravaganza was totally new and refreshing.


After watching it, we arrived back home to both discuss the film, for us it is everything that our friends had said in praise of it...

James Cameron sued by artist Roger Dean over Avatar

Hollywood director James Cameron has been sued by British artist Roger Dean for $50m (£33m) over claims he copied ideas for the 3D film Avatar.

Mr Dean, who designed album covers for the likes of prog-rock bands Yes and Asia, filed a legal action at a court in New York last week.

He has accused Cameron of "wilful and deliberate copying, dissemination and exploitation" of his original images.

Nine time Oscar-nominated Avatar is the highest-grossing film of all time.
